For more than 30 years, Sharon Goldberg (aka KerriaRosette) has been dabbling with various artistic mediums that range from sculpting and painting to sewing and crocheting. Her current focus has been designing and sewing clothing for Pullip and Momoko dolls, which are being sold through eBay auctions. Many of her purchased ensembles have been mailed around the globe and are now in the hands of doll lovers living in various countries including Australia, Spain, France, Brazil and United Kingdom.
“I discovered there were not many mass producers of clothing for these beautiful dolls, so I thought I would sew my own and share them with doll lovers at inexpensive rates,” she says. Her ensembles have been featured in photography groups on deviantArt.com and Flickr.com.
Today Sharon divides her time between restoring her old Maryland home and creating her popular Pullip and Momoko doll fashions.
For a period of time, Sharon had been designing and building half-inch scale doll houses, including a fisherman’s cottage, an English cottage, the three bears’ cottage and even a castle modeled after the castles she had seen in Germany. Every detail down to the furniture and the wiring for lights was done by hand sparing no detail.
In addition to dolls and doll houses, Sharon is an amateur photographer and writer. Stay tuned to this site to see what other forms of art she tackles and chooses to share.
