Here is where your creativity and imagination come into play. Now that your dress is sewn, you can add all kinds of embellishments ranging from lace and ribbon to buttons and beads. If you would like to add straps to your dress, you can do it by either hand sewing ribbon to the front and back of the bodice or by using fabric or Tacky Glue to attach the ribbon straps.
You can also use glue or hand stitch a belt into place. I have often used hot glue to glue flowers onto my dresses. Sew a matching piece of fabric into a triangle to create a shawl or scarf.
Use your imagination when you visit the fabric store. I often browse through the scrapbook section of the craft store. Sometimes you will find the most adorable items that can be sewn or glued to a dress. I also look at upholstery trimmings to see what I can use to add to a dress. The sky is the limit!
For inspiration, feel free to browse my gallery where I have photos of all the dresses I have sewn for Pullip and Momoko dolls. When you’re finished, I would love to see a photo of your doll in your creation!

Merci beaucoup pour ces jolies photos.
